Today we took time to explore our Unit of Inquiry board and talked about the Key Concepts and what they are .. but we also looked at what are some of the questions we might have moving forward in this unit. Check below to see our wonder wall KWL chart!

Today we also took some time to look at classroom rules and responsibilities and we signed off on our official grade 4 contract!

In Math we started our new unit . Number Patterns. We talked about what Number Patterns are and completed the Pre Test for this unit.

Good afternoon SJA parents Today the grade 4s began their Data Management Assignment. They conducted a survey about the religious demographic of students and teachers in grades 1-5. For this assignment, the grade 4s are being challenged to collect data, create graphs, and interpret their findings using concepts and terminology learned throughout the unit. This is a two day assignment, so the grade 4s will have the opportunity to complete their assignment tomorrow.  Today in language   the grade 4s will continued to work on their speeches. Some students have begun their third paragraph (subtopic 2).
