Hello SJA parents! Inquiry into Math: Today the grade 4's began the review (show what you know) for our unit. The unit test will be next week Thursday. Questions on page 106 #1-6 and page 107-7-9 were assigned and are due on Monday.  Inquiry into Language: Today in language We discussed chapters 25 as a class and 26 and 27 have been assigned for homework. Students were also tasked in creating a wanted poster for one of the "Villains" in our novel as well as a medieval announcement calling on all to aware of the missing person... This is due on Monday as we will not be in class tomorrow.  Unit of Inquiry : Today the grade 4s learned about castles, together we read and filled in the blanks on a Castles worksheet and began building our own blueprints for a castle. Hello SJA parents! TODAY WAS PINK SHIRT DAY !!! LOOK AT US GO!!!  New door decoration !  Inquiry into Math: Today the grade 4's looked at nets and building nets. We explored how we can build a net and what shape that net becomes. Check below for all our notes from math class.. Inquiry into Language: Today in language We discussed chapters 19 and 20 of Ghosts in the Churchyard. I read out chapter 22 and students were expected to read chapter 23 and 24... we read together as a class chapter 22 and continued to do our predictions. For homework students have been asked to read chapter 23 and 24 and complete the worksheets that goes along with it. Spelling test will be tomorrow morning.  Grade 5 list words Grade 4 list words Unit of Inquiry: Today the grade 4s learned about castles, Cottages and Manors and created a comparison chart to show what (if anything) they  had in common
