Hello SJA parents!




Inquiry into Math:
Today the grade 4's began the review (show what you know) for our unit. The unit test will be next week Thursday. Questions on page 106 #1-6 and page 107-7-9 were assigned and are due on Monday. 

Inquiry into Language:
Today in language We discussed chapters 25 as a class and 26 and 27 have been assigned for homework. Students were also tasked in creating a wanted poster for one of the "Villains" in our novel as well as a medieval announcement calling on all to aware of the missing person... This is due on Monday as we will not be in class tomorrow. 

Unit of Inquiry :
Today the grade 4s learned about castles, together we read and filled in the blanks on a Castles worksheet and began building our own blueprints for a castle. The blueprints will be due Monday.

For medieval times tomorrow please be sure to wear your academic tie. Students have been told that they will not be required to bring a lunch as it is provided at Medieval times, they can however bring snacks and some money for purchased of souvenirs at the gift shop.

March Break Camps

Forms have been sent home regarding SJA's Awesome Adventure Camp. This wonderful camp will run from Monday to Friday for the entire March Break (March 9-13 & March 16 -20) and is offered to students from JK to Grade 6. Field trips will take place on Thursday afternoon. Meal plans are also included if you choose to do so. Cash or Quickbooks payments are the accepted forms of payment. Don't delay, register today!

Covid -19 Updates  Hello and Good Morning Everyone, As you are now aware, St. Jude’s Academy will be closed for the next two weeks due to COVID-19. Good afternoon SJA parents Today the grade 4s began their Data Management Assignment. They conducted a survey about the religious demographic of students and teachers in grades 1-5. For this assignment, the grade 4s are being challenged to collect data, create graphs, and interpret their findings using concepts and terminology learned throughout the unit. This is a two day assignment, so the grade 4s will have the opportunity to complete their assignment tomorrow.  Today in language   the grade 4s will continued to work on their speeches. Some students have begun their third paragraph (subtopic 2).
