Day 6!
Good afternoon SJA Families !
Thank you Alister for bringing in a book to share about Medieval times
Today in Math we worked on constructing triangles. We used rulers and protractors to draw a given side length and protractors for the angles. Check below for some of our examples.
In language we continued to read our Ghosts in the Churchyard novel. As a class we read chapter 7 and had a class discussion on the events so far in the novel. Independently students read chapter 8 and 9 and completed some follow up questions on what was read in the chapters.
In unit of Inquiry we looked at what it means to be a knight. Students were given a package to read about how to become a knight and an assignment was given where they are expected to illustrate how one becomes a knight. We also labelled a knights armor worksheet and a quiz will be given on this worksheet next week Wednesday. The knighting assignment and ceremony will be next week Monday.
