Day 3

Happy Wednesday ! 



Math:
Today in math we explored capacity, now that we are all familiar with volume we began learning about capacity and the space a liquid or gas takes up in a container. Together we conducted an experiment in math that helped us to solve the volume of an item by using capacity. Homework was assigned on page 88 and 89 of workbook.
Remember, Volume measure the space an object occupies while capacity measure the liquids and gasses and the containers that hold them. 






Language: Our spelling test will be on Friday.

Unit of Inquiry:
Today in U.O.I students watched a magic school bus video about colours and had the chance to fill in a worksheet that related to the video but also to the colour wheel. Students then had the chance to colour in their own personal colour wheels and spectrum and also conduct an experiment about moving colours and learning about what happens when we blend them together. 
Students also had the chance to work on their science fair projects and begin the definitions worksheet using our UOI wall and they also began the project research and started learning about the experiment chosen and if/when it has been conducted in the past.
