Good afternoon SJA parents!  Today we had a chance to get together with our SK friends for reading buddies! Check us out below  In math today we continued to work on our decimals unit. Today we focused on Equivalent decimals. Students looked at understanding the place value chart and where decimals fall in the chart. Check out our notes below!   Today in language   the grade 4s continued to work on their speeches. Most students have now finished the rough draft and are not working on good copy writing. Here are a few things that we considered during our conferencing period:  - proper punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar - voice and style - develop a distinct tone the sets your writing/speech apart from others - defining unknown terms - help your audience develop their vocabulary  - descriptive language - don't give all the details away, build up to it, make it exciting/interesting - formattin...
