Happy Thursday SJA Families 

Language
Today in language we continued working on writing our paragraphs with words that were in our spelling lesson 11. This week was a review week and so there is no test tomorrow.

Today we also had the opportunity to spend some time in the dome with Mr Oliver and Ms Chin practicing for our Holiday concert. We are looking better and better each time!

Math
Today in math we worked on finding the area of an irregular polygon. Homework was assigned in the textbook and on page 140-141 in the workbook.

Good afternoon SJA parents Today the grade 4s began their Data Management Assignment. They conducted a survey about the religious demographic of students and teachers in grades 1-5. For this assignment, the grade 4s are being challenged to collect data, create graphs, and interpret their findings using concepts and terminology learned throughout the unit. This is a two day assignment, so the grade 4s will have the opportunity to complete their assignment tomorrow.  Today in language   the grade 4s will continued to work on their speeches. Some students have begun their third paragraph (subtopic 2).
