Day 6

Good afternoon SJA families, 

Today we have a new Star of the week!

We started our day with reading buddies - check us out below 









In Math today we began out review of the unit with SWYK questions in the textbook. Students have been asked to complete the SWYK questions for tomorrow. In preparation for our final assignment (we will begin on Thursday) students have been given a worksheets that will go over all the different graphs and mean, median and mode questions. We will have an in class review session tomorrow. 

In Language today we wrote our OWA post test and also worked on our speech. Introduction paragraph and first body paragraph should be finished by now and we will have student - teacher conferences tomorrow to make sure everyone is on track. 



In our library session today Ms Hayward read to us about Buddhism and we will continue this tomorrow in class.

Good afternoon SJA parents Today the grade 4s began their Data Management Assignment. They conducted a survey about the religious demographic of students and teachers in grades 1-5. For this assignment, the grade 4s are being challenged to collect data, create graphs, and interpret their findings using concepts and terminology learned throughout the unit. This is a two day assignment, so the grade 4s will have the opportunity to complete their assignment tomorrow.  Today in language   the grade 4s will continued to work on their speeches. Some students have begun their third paragraph (subtopic 2).
